KING COUNTY, Wash. — Two suspects were arrested after a police chase ended in floodwaters Wednesday evening near Fall City.
King County deputies said it began when a LoJack device alerted them to a stolen vehicle.
The chase began in Issaquah, where two suspects came into some type of confrontation with police. One of the suspects rammed their vehicle into a police cruiser.
The suspects then fled from the area and went to Bellevue and both got out of the vehicle.
Law enforcement said one person was arrested and the other carjacked a red vehicle, leading authorities on a chase near Fall City.
The suspect then drove the vehicle into the water, near Dike Road and Redmond-Fall City Road Southeast, and then got stuck in floodwaters and needed rescuing.
Law enforcement then arrested the suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
