FLINT, MI — Attorneys for Rick Snyder want a seat at the table when written protocols are developed to establish a “taint team” to review seized Flint water crisis documents being used to prosecute the former governor and eight others.
A motion filed in Genesee County Circuit Court asks Judge Elizabeth Kelly to allow Snyder’s lawyers to intervene in the process even though Snyder’s case is pending in a lower court because he has only been charged with two misdemeanor counts of willful neglect of duty related to the water crisis.
