MACUNGIE, Pa. — Macungie Police say a water main break has caused water service to be shut off in the borough on Sunday evening.
According to a message from police at 7:24 p.m., the break was discovered in the area of South Church Street.
Water service to this area was shut off by 8 p.m. but is expected to be restored by the end of the evening, police said.
Police advise residents to run their faucets prior to using them once service is restored.
