Every year, Water Week brings together water professionals from across the country to promote key water policy priorities. These include sustained growth in federal infrastructure investment, addressing water affordability, supporting water research and development, advancing science-based solutions, and making our critical infrastructure more resilient.
Water Week 2024 will take place from April 7th to 13th, 2024, and will feature events such as:
- Policy Event 2024: Tuesday, April 9th, 2024.
- Government Affairs Community Meeting: Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, 10-11 AM, at the Archives Room of the conference hotel.
- Water Week Reception: Tuesday afternoon, April 9th, 2024.
- WEF/NMSA Stormwater Policy Forum: April 8th, 2024, 12 – 5 PM (registration opens in early February).
Hotel: The Policy Event will take place at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf, 480 L’Enfant Plaza SW, Washington, DC 20024, (202) 484-1000.
National Water Policy Fly-In | April 9th, 2024: This one-day event will gather attendees to network and hear from key EPA and other government officials. The afternoon will be reserved for meetings with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. The day will conclude with the Water Week 2024 Reception. A joint brochure will be provided for attendees to use as a “reference document” during Capitol Hill visits. The Fly-In is co-hosted by WEF, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, the Water Research Foundation, and the WateReuse Association.
National Stormwater Policy Forum | April 8th, 2024: 12:00-5:00 PM Eastern Time at 660 North Capitol St NW, Washington, DC 20001.
Young Professional Scholarship from the Water Environment Federation: This scholarship will cover the registration cost to attend the National Water Policy Fly-In during Water Week 2024 in Washington, DC. Additionally, it will provide an $800 stipend to help cover transportation, accommodation, and meal costs. Please complete the form by March 1st, 2024.
Infrastructure Infographics: WEF has created infographics to communicate the value of water and the importance of infrastructure investment. These can be used as handouts during discussions and shared on social media.
