WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Some residents in the area of Lowell Street and Lowell Ave in West Springfield may experience a temporary loss of water service on Monday.
This is due to construction that will be taking place as part of the Memorial Ave water main replacement project. Water service is expected to shut off around 7 a.m. and will not return for at least several hours during the construction period.
The town is recommending that residents run cold water through their taps for around 10 minutes once service returns.
